The Wild Edge of Sorrow: A Journey Into Grief

Join us as we explore the five gates of grief as outlined in Francis Weller's book, The wild edge of sorrow - rituals of renewal and the sacred work of grief. This 10-week therapeutic book club will create a safe container to witness and tend to your grief as part of a supportive community. We will incorporate somatic exercises, a grief ritual, and the development of sustaining practices to continue the lifelong calling to honor our grief. Our next group is starting January 12, 2026, with only a couple seats open.

Mindfulness for Insomnia and Anxiety Relief

Mindfulness is the art of returning to the present moment on purpose. It slows down our racing thoughts and invites more moments of peace. Studies show that making mindfulness a regular practice re-wires the brain and becomes an anchor in our busy lives. Similar to starting a workout, it takes time and dedication to create and strengthen new neural pathways. Over the course of our 10-week group you will learn a new exercise each week, share your personal journey, and benefit from supportive accountability. Sunday evening sessions can help you prepare for a restful sleep, combat the "Sunday scaries," and step into the week ahead with greater clarity. Now open to new members!

Resilience in Crisis: Supporting Activist Burnout

Climate change, extreme weather events, resource insecurity, and ecosystem destruction naturally invoke a range of distressing emotions including anxiety, guilt, despair, and grief. Environmental professionals and activists often carry more than their share of this emotional burden because we care so deeply. While taking action and inspiring change fills us with hope, it can also feel like an uphill battle leading to exhaustion and burnout. Come together as a community to have your feelings held and validated while gaining new skills to remain resilient in the face of an ongoing crisis. This group meets virtually for 6 weeks with an optional in-person gathering for nature therapy. Each session includes personal sharing, IFS and mindfulness-informed processing, a reflective exercise, and a somatic grounding practice. Now open to new members!
